We make the most of New Zealand as possible on this tour around both the North and South Islands. Departing Auckland we head north to the beautiful Bay of Islands . You have the chance to visit Cape Reinga , drive along 90 Miile Beach and more before we stop off at the beautiful beach town of Leigh. Crossing over to the Coromandel Peninsula we stop at Hahei, before heading to Rotorua. This geothermal region is where we venture into the Maori history, culture and customs with a visit to Whakarewarewa Village . The East Coast is next and we take time to enjoy the relaxing pace of Napier and Hastings. The capital city of Wellington is where we board our ferry bound for the South Island. Traveling along the coast line we now arrive in Kaikoura, where you have the chance to go Whale watching before we continue onto Christchurch. Crossing the Canterbury Plains we make our way inland, where the amazing Southern Alps fill the Horizon. Heading back out to the coast we stop in Dunedin before heading into the Milford Sound and Queenstown, where there is plenty of activities to keep the heart pumping. The rugged West Coast in next as we make our way to Franz and Fox Glaciers. Greymouth and Punakaiki are next before having the chance to explore Abel Tasman National Park. Crossing back into the North Island we travel around Mt Taranaki to New Plymouth. Carrying on North we visit the Waitomo Caves before having the chance to get your feet wet on Raglan black sand beach. Our final drive brings us back to Auckland where the amazing tours comes to a close. |
